What Is Strides For The Silenced?
In short: A 5K to spread awareness in our community on the dangers of sex trafficking.
Strides for the Silenced is a brand-new event created by anti-sex trafficking organizations across Louisville to help educate, unify, and give a place to start in the fight to end the buying and selling of human lives.
Representatives from each organization will be present to teach you about their specific role in the AST community, and how you can get involved. Come together with others wanting to join in the fight to end human slavery, and learn where exactly you fit in.
Your presence matters—and your impact will echo far beyond this race.
Run, walk or simply come for support. We’ll have activities and opportunities for the whole family to get involved and learn more about this incredibly important movement.
Through Strides for the Silenced, every stride you run is a prayer in motion, a voice raised for those who cannot speak for themselves, and a tangible way to honor God’s call to protect the vulnerable.
